Welcome!

I am always humbled by new beginnings. There is a sense of uncertainty, hesitation in the unknown, and curiosity of what is to come. As I step into the new beginning of private practice, I am reminded of this sentiment. I am reminded that both therapists and clients experience the same human experience of emotions. We are all wandering on this journey of life together and desire to find solace in shared experience.

This is why I LOVE my job. As a counselor, I am humbly aware that I, too, can sit on the other side of the couch and need a space of healing and processing. I am committed to remaining a guide for the client on their journey, but also believe, and trust, that the client is their own greatest asset. I believe that I am there to help uncover what may be getting in the way of this precious relationship with self. My hope for therapy is to access the parts of self that help us grow in the unknown. And, to understand that our life unfolds like a story, with chapters and seasons that deeply shape us and that are worthy of exploration. Therapy is the greatest adventure of exploration of self. It can evoke fear and perhaps anxiety, but the reward is much greater than the risk. I hope you join me on this adventure.
