About Kristin

My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. While woundings often occur in relationship, I also believe that healing happens in relationship. In navigating life woundings, we join together as a team to create safety, security, and trust in order to understand what brought you into the therapy and to embark on your journey through therapy.

Therapeutically, I have experience with individual, couples, and group therapy, trauma intensives, experiential therapy, equine therapy, eating disorder recovery, substance abuse recovery, and 12-Step programs. I am committed to the belief that full recovery is possible. Additionally, I am formally trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and the practice of Sociometry, Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy.

I received my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and my B.A. in Sociology and African-American Studies from the University of Virginia.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (license #4650), NCC
